Clearwater has salt water on both sides. Clearwater Beach sits on a barrier island across Clearwater Harbor to the west, and on the east side the Courtney Campbell Causeway heads out across Old Tampa Bay toward Tampa. In between is the mainland city and Pinellas County seat, with neighborhoods that range from waterfront streets on Island Estates to inland areas like Countryside.
Pavers wear differently depending on where you are in that spread. Close to the Gulf, wind-blown sand and salt settle into joints and onto the sealer. Around the harbor and the bay, humidity keeps shaded pool decks and walkways damp and green. Farther inland it is mostly the sun: faded color, chalky old sealer, and joint sand that has washed out after years of summer storms.
We quote every Clearwater job in person. That visit is where we check for settling, loose pavers, damaged joints, drainage problems, weeds, efflorescence, and failing sand or sealer, and it is how we tell whether a surface needs a clean and seal or a full restoration.
